Job summary

LocumTenens.com is recruiting for a nocturnal, 24-hour cardiothoracic surgery assignment in Connecticut at a tertiary-care medical center. The clinician will cover inpatient and operating room services, with weekend shifts as the primary component.

Responsibilities include cardiothoracic surgical services in an on-site hospital setting, approximately 10 patients per day, and no on-call requirement. Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery is required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon required.
• Experience with inpatient and operating room cardiothoracic care.
• Ability to work night and 24-hour shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage across inpatient and OR settings.
• Work night shifts with 24-hour coverage and weekend duty as primary component.
• No call coverage required for this engagement.
