CompHealth APP is seeking a Physician Assistant specialized in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens assignment in Memphis, Tennessee. The role focuses on inpatient CV and thoracic surgery with CABG and open-heart surgery assistance, including independent EVH/vein harvesting capabilities.

The position offers housing and travel coverage, licensing and malpractice cost coverage, and a comprehensive benefits package. A recruiter handles all details, with 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Inpatient cardiovascular and thoracic surgery setting experience.
• CABG and open heart surgery assisting required.
• EVH/vein harvesting independent ability required.
• CV ICU experience and critical care management.
• Impella experience and central line placement skills.

Responsabilités

• Work 8am–5pm, Monday through Friday with call coverage.
• See ~10 patients per shift with assigned patient rounding.
• Inpatient cardiovascular and thoracic surgery setting.
• In-house call ratio 1:5 with 10 consults and 3 admissions.
• Assist with CABG and open heart surgery.
• Demonstrate EVH vein harvesting capabilities.
• Provide comprehensive housing and travel arrangements.
