LocumTenens.com, LLC is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide inpatient cardiothoracic surgery coverage in Illinois. The assignment runs on a day shift from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with call responsibilities, onsite at an hospital setting in the Champaign-Urbana area.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery and experienced in inpatient CT services, ready to support a structured workflow and collaborate with the CT surgery team.

Qualifications

Licensed Physician Assistant with board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Experience in inpatient cardiothoracic coverage preferred.
Strong patient care and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Provide inpatient cardiothoracic surgical coverage.
Work day shift from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with required call.
Respond to cardiothoracic cases during each coverage period.
On-site hospital-based duties with CT surgery team.
