Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a full-time experienced Physician Assistant/CRNP 1st Assist to join the Cardiothoracic Surgery team at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA.

The APP will work with physicians and the care team to manage a broad range of Cardiothoracic conditions, including scrubbing in on OR cases and serving as a first assistant. Excellent collaborative environment with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• PA from an accredited institution.
• Eligible for Pennsylvania licensure/DEA.
• 1+ years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Carries out Physician Assistant/NP duties as defined by the Cardiothoracic Surgeon(s)
• Scrubs in on cardiothoracic OR cases and demonstrates a proactive approach in preparation for each procedure
• Functions as a first assistant in surgery
• Harvest vein grafts
• Provides cardiothoracic consultative services in the hospital
• Rounds on patients regularly in the CICU
• Performs discharge planning function and discharges patients under the direction and supervision of a Cardiothoracic Surgeon
• Assist physicians with call as needed
