The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, invites applications for tenure-track cardiothoracic surgery faculty. The Clinical Scholar Track offers two career paths: Clinician-Educator and Clinician-Investigator, focusing on clinical service, education, and scholarship.

Candidates should have completed a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship, board eligibility or certification by the ABTS, and be able to obtain state licenses.

Qualifications

• Completion of Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship.
• Must obtain or maintain Kansas and Missouri medical licenses.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified by ABTS (American Board of Thoracic Surgery).

Responsabilités

• One clinic day per week for new and post-op patients.
• Operating 4 days per week based on volume.
• Rounding on all patients.
• Covering call.
• Participating in research and Department educational efforts.
• Job duties subject to change without notice.
