Job summary

Qualifications

• Unrestricted licensure in Oregon as PA or NP.
• Certification as PA or NP per state requirements (NCCPA/NCC or AANP).
• ACLS certification is required.
• Experience in hospital and outpatient care; OR first assisting; teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and manage cardiac and thoracic surgical patients.
• Assist during cardiac and thoracic procedures and perioperative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, risks, and post-operative care.
