Job summary

MemorialCare Health System in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a qualified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center's renowned cardiac program. The ideal candidate has a strong adult cardiac surgery background, including endovascular, mechanical circulatory support, or transcatheter procedures, and holds an unrestricted California medical license.

Qualifications

• American Board of Surgery certification (or board eligible).
• American Board of Thoracic Surgery certification (or board eligible).
• Aortic surgery experience is a plus.
• Must possess or be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Join a dedicated heart team with cardiac anesthesiologists.
• Perform adult cardiac surgery including endovascular and transcatheter procedures.
• Provide leadership within a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.
• Offer comprehensive patient care with strong referral base.
