Piedmont Heart Institute in Athens, Georgia, seeks a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team. This full-time role involves practicing all aspects of cardiac and thoracic surgery with a collaborative multidisciplinary team and a strong focus on patient safety and outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in both cardiac and thoracic procedures and will join two established surgeons in a high-volume program with advanced technology.

Formación

• Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Board certified/board eligible in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Current Georgia medical licensure or ability to obtain an unrestricted Georgia license.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a broad range of cardiac and thoracic surgeries, including emergent CABGs and aortic dissections.
• Collaborate with cardiology, heart failure, and electrophysiology teams to optimize patient care.
• Participate in a high-volume OR schedule with a dedicated CT surgery team.
• Provide mentorship and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
