Job summary

Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join SOMC Heart & Vascular Associates. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and maintain a broad cardiac and thoracic practice across clinics and operating rooms.

The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in Cardiac Surgery, eligible for Ohio medical licensure, and experienced in CABG, valve, ablation, and other adult cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in CT surgery.
• Fellowship-trained in Cardiac Surgery.
• Experience with full range of adult cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a broad operative practice including CABG, valve surgery, ablation, pacemakers, VATS and thoracotomy.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic and vascular teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
