Providence Heart Institute in Missoula, MT is seeking a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a full-time role on-site at Providence St. Patrick Hospital.

The program offers a full spectrum of vascular, cardiac, and thoracic services including a robust structural heart program and active clinical research. The role requires expertise in valvular disease, minimally invasive approaches, and complex thoracic aortic disease, with an annual case volume of open hearts, thoracic, and TAVR

Qualifications

• Board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon with extensive experience in valvular heart disease.
• Expertise in minimally invasive approaches and complex thoracic Aortic disease.
• Experience in high-volume cardiac surgery programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform open heart and thoracic procedures with high case volume.
• Lead and participate in valve, aortic and thoracic interventions.
• Engage in clinical research and physician education activities.

This is a globally recognized joint Surgical/Cardiology practice providing full spectrum diagnostic and therapeutic services. On the campus of Missoula’s Providence St. Patrick Hospital, this institute houses a full-service Structural Heart program. It also actively pursues clinical research and ongoing physician and community educational activities - the centerpiece of which is the annual Rocky Mountain Heart Valve Symposium. • Seeking accomplished cardiac surgeon with extensive experience in treating valvular heart disease, minimally invasive approaches, and complex thoracic aortic disease.

• Annual case volume of approximately 400 open hearts, 150 thoracic and more than 250 TAVR
