The role covers all aspects of adult cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, including CABG, valve procedures, structural heart (TAVR, TriClip, MitraClip), and robotic lung surgeries with VATS and the da Vinci Xi system.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in structural heart therapies (TAVR, TriClip, MitraClip/TEER, MViV).
• Contribute to a robust robotic and minimally invasive lung surgery program using VATS/da Vinci Xi.

Job Summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, providing the highest level of surgical care at the hospital’s Heart, Lung and Vascular Center. The scope of practice for this position includes all aspects of adult cardiothoracic and vascular surgery:

• Coronary artery bypass surgery
• Minimal invasive valve surgery
• Comprehensive Structural Heart including TAVR, TriClip, MitraClip (TEER) and MViV
• Broad spectrum of minimally invasive lung surgeries utilizing VATS and da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system.
