Job summary

Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is expanding its Imaging Institute and recruiting cardiothoracic radiologists for part-time and full-time roles across onsite, hybrid, and remote settings.

The team provides extensive chest and cardiac imaging, using advanced CT, MRI, and radiography equipment, across multiple hospitals and imaging centers in the Greater Pittsburgh and Erie Areas. Flexible scheduling and strong collaboration with pulmonology and surgery are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology and CAQ in cardiothoracic imaging
• Successful completion of fellowship training in cardiothoracic imaging
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Radiology
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Participation in Maintenance of Certification or eligible for such is required
• Actively participate in training residents and medical students
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment

Responsibilities

• Read chest and cardiothoracic imaging with options for 100% chest or mixed chest and cardiac
• Provide a wide range of diagnostic services including plain film, chest CT and cardiac CT, and chest MRI
• Operate imaging equipment across multiple CT scanners and MRI systems
• Collaborate in a large division serving 14 hospitals and imaging centers in the Greater Pittsburgh and Erie Areas
• Interact with residents who assist with clinical care and provide preliminary interpretations
• Schedule is flexible with full shift or fractional daily shifts
• Collaborate with pulmonology, cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgery service lines
