Job summary

Banner University Medical Group is seeking a fellowship-trained radiologist to join the Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging. This clinician will contribute to academic service, education, and clinical excellence in Cardio-thoracic imaging, with opportunities across CT/MR modalities and collaboration across divisions.

Ideal candidates hold MD/DO with ABR Certification in Diagnostic Radiology and Cardiothoracic Imaging fellowship, plus eligibility for AZ licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• ABR Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Imaging
• Eligible for licensure in Arizona

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a strong academic division that provides comprehensive clinical service with a spirit of innovation as an engine for growth, value, and service
• Reads Cardiac CTA, Cardiac MRI, Coronary CTA, TAVR, LAA occlusion device imaging, Chest Radiographs, Chest CT, Chest MRI, and Cardiac MR
• Participate in weekday clinical work and weekday/weekend call coverage while ensuring the delivery of timely, high-quality clinical care
• Collaboration with colleagues to improve service and quality to for the betterment of our patients
• Provide instruction for the Residency, Fellowship and Medical Student educational programs by preparing and administering lectures and reviewing cases
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences, conferring with other services concerning issues affecting Medical Imaging
• Support innovative research and serve as a willing collaborator with clinical and translational researchers
