Job summary

Palm Careers seeks an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant in Raleigh, NC for a high-profile cardiac surgery group. Primary duties include first or second assist in adult cardiac surgery, with EVH experience required; radial artery harvest experience preferred but not required.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with five eight-hour shifts, one in six weekends, and on-call backup one weekday (two weekdays every four weeks) plus one weekend every four weeks. Comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• EVH experience required.
• Experience in adult cardiac surgery.
• Ability to back up call and manage patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with adult cardiac surgery as first or second assistant.
• Maintain patient care on the floor and in clinic as needed.
• Support call schedule as described and respond within 45 minutes when on call if applicable.
