UTMB Health is inviting fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible cardiothoracic imaging radiologists to join our academic faculty. This role emphasizes education, research, and clinical service across a high-volume, technologically advanced center in Texas.

We welcome candidates at all career stages, with support for foreign graduates pursuing ABR certification. UTMB offers a collaborative environment and robust subspecialty resources across multiple campuses.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility by ABR.
• Fellowship training in cardiothoracic imaging required.
• Certificate of Added Qualification in Cardiac CT preferred.
• Texas Medical License or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Eligibility for appointment to UTMB medical staff.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Teach residents and fellows through case-based teaching and mentorship.
• Engage in research and scholarly activity within an active academic radiology program.
• Provide high-volume, state-of-the-art cardiothoracic imaging services across UTMB campuses.
