Job summary

The Department of Radiology at the University of Washington in Seattle invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor without tenure (WOT). The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to cardiothoracic imaging, with responsibilities spanning clinical service, teaching, and scholarly activity.

Clinical work includes pulmonary and cardiac imaging with cardiovascular MRI and CT, chest CT and radiographs.

Qualifications

• MD or foreign equivalent and eligible for Washington State medical licensure.
• Board certified or board eligible in diagnostic radiology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in diagnostic radiology with fellowship in cardiothoracic imaging.
• Demonstrated record of scientific presentations or publications.
• For H-1B sponsorship, USMLE steps completion as required by the sponsoring authorities.

Responsibilities

• Engage in scholarly work, teaching, and clinical service in cardiothoracic imaging.
• Perform and interpret pulmonary and cardiac imaging using chest CT, chest radiographs, MRI and CT.
• Collaborate with cardiology, pulmonology, oncology, and thoracic surgery to support patient care.
• Contribute to fellowship training and supervision of radiology residents and medical students.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and clinical service at UW Medicine campuses.
