Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care through the nursing process. The role involves coordinating care with multiple departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are maintained, and upholding Mercy's mission and service standards.

Graduates of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license and BLS certification are encouraged to apply, with unit-specific certifications as required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure
• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Additional unit-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC, etc.) may be required

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Acts in alignment with Mercy mission, values and service standards.

Education

RN license (state/compact)
