Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Educate clinicians on RNAi, cardiometabolic diseases, and related science.
• Engage with HCPs to translate data into clinical insight.
• Present at scientific congresses and meetings.
• Support clinical trials and investigator site engagement.
• Develop territory plans and execute pre-call and post-call activities.
• Maintain scientific expertise and cross-functional relationships.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Engage cardiologists/endocrinologists/healthcare professionals/stakeholders to educate on clinical and scientific evidence.
• Educate on RNAi technology, hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
• Synthesize and communicate clinical/scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
• Attend and present at scientific congresses/meetings.
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries consistent with MSL compliance standards.
• Support company sponsored clinical trials via investigator site engagement.
• Support speaker training and ensure speakers are up to date.
• Support national/regional/local congresses, including Opinion Leader engagement.
• Monitor and analyze publications, clinical trials, and competitive landscape.
• Maintain clinical/scientific expertise and industry acumen.
• Demonstrate professionalism and deliver results; act in accordance with company policies.
• Develop territory Opinion Leader and account plans; execute pre-call and follow-up plans.
• Communicate information accurately; document MSL accomplishments.
• Provide scientific support for Med Info inquiries.
• Develop scientific content for medical education; support Medical Affairs special projects.
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships.

Requirements:

• PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO required.
• 5+ years’ experience as an MSL.
• Cardiometabolic therapeutic experience; biotech/pharma Medical Affairs experience.
• Strong verbal/written communication; collaboration.
• Ability to interpret scientific data and translate to educational/research needs.
• Identify local/regional unmet medical needs; understand healthcare delivery/managed care.
• Understanding research study design/execution; ability to drive results in ambiguous environments.
• Strong project and time management; ability to travel.

Pay/Benefits:

• Pay range: $190,000–$210,000 USD.
