Job summary

MedVet in Dallas is seeking a Cardiology Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency and Specialty team. You will assist with echocardiography and other cardiology procedures, manage appointments and records, and educate clients to support comprehensive patient care.

You will liaise between cardiologists and clients, help with scheduling, and ensure smooth daily operations while expanding your knowledge in interventional cardiology and related treatments.

Qualifications

• Cardiology experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in procedures such as echocardiography, thoracentesis, pericardiocentesis, and interventional cardiology.
• Manage appointments, histories, medical records, invoicing, discharges, and daily service flow.
• Place IV catheters, monitor blood pressures, and perform ECGs.
• Educate clients on cardiology disease processes.
• Support the MedVet experience and ensure high quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
