The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, MO seeks a Senior Scientist- Cardiology to provide scientific leadership for complex molecular biology programs within Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic Research. You will mentor personnel and guide translational initiatives.

You will design and conduct advanced molecular, cellular, biochemical, and physiological studies, drive innovation, ensure quality and compliance, analyze data, and contribute to growth of the research program.

Competenze

• PhD required with advanced knowledge in molecular biology.
• Experience designing and executing molecular, cellular, and biochemical research.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor staff.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage complex molecular biology research projects.
• Design, perform, optimize, and troubleshoot experiments including cell culture.
• Work with small animal models, including mice.
