Job summary

BIOTRONIK is seeking a Sales Representative for Iowa to grow market share in the cardiac rhythm business by promoting, selling, and servicing BIOTRONIK products in an assigned territory. You will conduct field promotions, meet sales goals, and maintain strong product knowledge while coordinating customer activities and providing on-call support.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and relevant medical industry sales experience, with travel up to 10% and extensive driving within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3 years medical industry sales experience in hospital environments or 1 year with a relevant advanced degree or prior BIOTRONIK sales/clinical specialist experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sales calls to promote, sell, and service BIOTRONIK products and services to existing and competitive customers.
• Implement quarterly sales plan and achieve sales goals and objectives.
• Maintain proficient knowledge of BIOTRONIK products and support sales efforts.
• Coordinate customer activities at all meetings as assigned.
• Complete administrative reporting (expenses, account profiles, daily planners, competitive updates, inventory).
• Provide field intelligence on competition, market changes, distribution, pricing, and customer preferences.
• Manage time and assets efficiently and maintain inventory for distribution.
• Utilize sales collateral to support promotional and territorial needs.
• Train and educate both existing and competitive customers.
• Provide 24/7 on-call territory coverage and travel as needed.
• Must be able to drive ~80% within assigned territory with valid license and insurance.
