Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Ontario, OR seeks a Cardiology Technician to perform stress testing, EEGs, Holter monitor hookups, and related documentation and revenue tasks. This role supports patient care across age groups in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities include accurate charting, equipment setup, patient communication, and adherence to safety policies while contributing to daily revenue review and charge capture. Four 9.5 hour shifts, day shift, full-time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire in all units unless ACLS/PALS already held.
• Previous knowledge of EKGs preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knows, understands, and upholds the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Demonstrates compliance with hospital safety policies and procedures.
• Ensures accuracy of documenting services and supplies for patients.
• Demonstrates ability to care for all age groups (Neonate to Geriatric) as applicable.
• Performs EEGs, various stress tests, and Holter/Event monitor hookups according to protocol.
• Communicates procedures to patients professionally and documents findings.
• Edits clinical information per physician interpretation and charges testing accurately.
