Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Cardiology Technician I for Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This per diem role covers day/evening shifts (7:00am-3:30pm or 3:00pm-11:00pm) and reports to the Cardiology Manager.

You will perform electrocardiograms, exercise stress testing and apply Holter monitors, reporting findings as required. Requirements include a high school diploma, a cardiology background, CPR certification, and stress testing knowledge; EKG certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Cardiology background and CPR certification preferred.
• Knowledge of stress testing and Holter monitoring desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms (ECG).
• Conduct exercise stress testing and apply Holter monitors.
• Apply and remove Holter monitors and report abnormal findings.

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day/Evening shift, 7:00am - 3:30pm, 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Position reports to the Manager, Cardiology or designee. Perform electrocardiograms, exercise stress testing and apply Holter Monitors. Apply and remove Holter Monitors and report abnormal findings to appropriate sources.

• High School diploma, cardiology background, CPR certified, and Stress Testing knowledge preferred.

• EKG certification program preferred.

• Working knowledge of all EKG procedures including Holter Monitors and various types of Stress Testing required. Good organizational skills and computer skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
