CommonSpirit Health's Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, California, seeks a Cardiology Technician to perform all electrocardiograms and related tests per established procedures to support heart-disease diagnosis. You will work under the Cardiology Director/Manager, executing a range of tests and ensuring timely Muse entries and accurate medical records.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• One year of EKG and treadmill testing experience preferred in acute care.
• Certification from NB Cardiovascular Technology and EEG experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs EKGs and ensures Muse entry and medical record retrieval.
• Recognizes abnormal readings and notifies RN/MD when life-threatening.
• Checks crash cart equipment daily and ensures availability.
• Stocks supplies for testing procedures.
• Scans Holter recordings and processes reports for physicians.
• Performs EEGs for inpatients and outpatients (adult and pediatric).
