Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Cardiology Technician to perform non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures and support physicians in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions.
The role involves obtaining EKGs, Holter monitoring, stress testing, data entry, and assisting with various procedures, while ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting across inpatient and outpatient settings. A BLS certification and cardiology experience are preferred.
The Cardiology Technician performs non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures to support physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions. This role explains procedures to patients, obtains and records electrocardiograms and related studies, and ensures accurate documentation and timely reporting across inpatient and outpatient settings.

This position is covered by the collective bargaining agreement between Howard University Hospital and Local 2094. Pay is set by the Local 2094 wage scale for Grade 2094-18.
Hourly base pay range: $19.00–$30.40
Placement within the range is determined in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Shift and weekend differentials may apply in addition to base pay, as provided under the agreement.
