The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Cardiology Technician for the Olathe Hospital to support the Cardiac Lab and Cardiovascular Procedure areas. You will assist with patient transports, preps, ECG readings, and routine equipment maintenance under RN supervision.
You may perform sheath pulls and ensure rooms are stocked, while monitoring vitals and addressing patient needs promptly. Required education includes a high school diploma or GED; CNA certification and BLS are preferred.
Under the direction of a supervising nurse or other team member, the Cardiology Technician performs patient care functions for patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Lab and/or Cardiovascular Procedure areas. These functions may include sheath pulls, ECGs, prepping patients for procedure and providing a variety of specialized duties in the Cardiac Procedural Areas.
