Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Cardiographic Technician for the Heart Station in Winston-Salem, NC. The role supports patient care, monitors event data, and collaborates with the care team. Shifts run 10:30 a.m.

to 9 p.m., Monday–Thursday, with 10-hour days and no weekend schedule currently listed. Required CPR within 6 months of hire; CCT credential within two years; high school diploma or GED; prior patient care experience preferred.

Department: 36939 Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Heart StationStatus: Part timeBenefits Eligible: NoHours Per Week: 0Schedule Details/Additional Information: 10:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday - Thursday (10-hour shift)Pay Range $19.80 - $29.70

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Maintains Heart Station operational requirements and professional competence.
  2. Communicates to the team, co-workers, patients and family members in an effective positive and professional manner.
  3. Administers patient care as mandated by licensure, certification or registration.
  4. Maintains professional and technical knowledge of Heart Station event monitors, teletrace issues, and Holter monitors.
  5. Ensures age/developmentally appropriate patient procedures are provided in accordance with Age-Specific Procedure Guidelines for the specific age groups served
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Responsible for finding coverage if called for weekend list
  2. Solid oral and written communication skills
  3. Ability to obtain/communicate information to patients of varying age group and at their level of comprehension good computer skills
  4. Strong organizational and time management skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  2. Previous experience with patient care preferred.
  3. Certified Cardiographic Technician preferred.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION:
  1. CPR certification required within 6 months of hire.
  2. Recommend Certified Cardiographic Technician within two years of hire.
  3. Must be a Certified Cardiographic Technician to acquire promotion within the department.
  4. If CCT is not obtained within two years of hire date, employee will perform Electrocardiograms only.
