Job summary

St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a Cardiology Specialty RN to join the SB Cardiology & Vascular Clinic. The position is full time with a day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., focusing on outpatient cardiology care and patient flow within the clinic. The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in nursing, has knowledge of clinic policies and equipment, and strong telephone communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited two-year college or university.
• Knowledge of clinic policies/procedures, practices, techniques, and equipment.
• Keyboarding skills; Windows skills preferred; ability to speak and hear clearly over the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Provides prescribed medical treatment ordered by the physician, places in exam room obtaining vital signs and chief complaint, assists physicians and nurses as required.
• Serves as a mediator between physician and patient. Attendance is an essential function of this job.
