Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Cardiology Nurse for the Springfield facility to manage care for adult and geriatric cardiology patients. You will assess, administer medications, monitor telemetry, and educate patients and families.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Required are an accredited nursing program graduate and Missouri RN licensure; BLS within 90 days and ACLS within one year.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• RN license active in Missouri required.
• BL S must be obtained within 90 days; ACLS within 1 year of hire; BLS/ACLS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult/geriatric Cardiology patients including acute, chronic, and terminal conditions.
• Assess patient condition, administer medications and monitor responses.
• Interpret telemetry and provide patient/family education and support.
• Demonstrate leadership and effective time management in a multi-tasking environment.
