Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN required for candidates with fewer than 5 years of RN experience.
• 1 year previous Cardiac experience.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Current ACLS certification or ability to complete within six months of employment.
• Licensure must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Supports and models behaviors consistent with the mission and philosophy of Billings Clinic and department/service.
• Utilizing a holistic approach, incorporates the nursing process into the plan of care for the patient.
• Plans, organizes, implements, evaluates and documents family-centered cardiac care.
• Maintains competency in safety standards and identifies safety issues.
• Maintains skills with equipment, laboratory values and radiologic findings relevant to Cardiology.
• Applies performance improvement principles to assess and improve patient care.
• Identifies personal growth needs and completes mandatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet department needs.
