Job summary

Advocate Health in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a full-time cardiology unit role. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm, with travel within the Greater Milwaukee Area.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, documenting in the EHR, promoting safety, and collaborating with the care team. Requires an active RN license and BLS; 1 year of clinical nursing experience is common; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license active and in the state(s) where care is provided.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed by specialty.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and ensure patient safety.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
