Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiology unit at Baptist Medical Center South. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, use the nursing process for patient assessments and care planning, and collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.

Additional duties may be assigned within the role's scope. The role requires an active RN license and a nursing degree, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in nursing; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure is required; BLS is required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc. may be required depending on area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May have additional duties within the scope of the role.
