Job summary

A healthcare system serving the Omaha, Nebraska region is seeking a Locums Cardiology Physician to provide inpatient and outpatient general cardiology coverage. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with the potential for limited night call in a collaborative, well-supported practice.

Responsibilities include evaluating and managing patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, performing ECHO and TEE, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Board certification in cardiology required.
• Active Nebraska and Iowa medical licenses required.
• Current DEA registration.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong experience in general cardiology, ECHO, and TEE.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage inpatient and outpatient cardiology patients.
• Perform and interpret Echocardiograms (ECHO) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE).
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document encounters using Epic.
• Participate in night call as needed.
