Overview

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Cardiology, is accepting applications for a Pediatric Cardiologist Division Director to join our multispecialty program.

Our main centers include Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, and Grace Medical Center, along with community practices.

Sinai Hospital is Maryland's largest community hospital and the state's third-largest teaching hospital. The Department of Pediatrics employs over 40 full-time faculty across more than 15 subspecialties, training over 140 residents and 400 medical students yearly. It hosts Maryland's only nationally accredited pediatric training program in a community hospital setting, including a pediatric residency with 25 residents, and serves as a regional campus for George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Position Details

We are seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist Division Director to join our collaborative team.

• Primary location at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, providing inpatient, outpatient, and procedural care.
• Additional satellite clinics and procedural opportunities.
• Day/night call coverage.
• Involvement in pediatric residency teaching, research, mentoring, and committees.
• Teaching opportunities for medical students and international visitors.
• Faculty appointment options based on experience.
• Full-time, employed role.

Division Director Responsibilities

• Manage the division’s on-call schedule.
• Attend departmental and leadership meetings.
• Collaborate with leadership on performance and strategic initiatives.
• Optimize clinical operations.
• Address division office issues with practice management.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Ability to obtain Maryland Medical License without restrictions.
• Current or obtainable DEA and Maryland CDS licenses.
• Clinical Pediatric Cardiology experience.
• Interest in academic medicine and teaching pediatrics to students and residents.
