Job summary

CompHealth offers cardiology assignments with a balanced mix of outpatient and inpatient work. You will cover ICU duties, perform echocardiography and TEE, and engage in nuclear cardiology as required.

A weekly housing and travel arrangement simplifies relocations for assignments across facilities. Shifts run Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour schedule from 7 am to 5 pm and a biweekly 20-minute beeper call.

Qualifications

• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient cardiology settings.
• ICU coverage experience or capacity is required.
• Proficiency in echocardiography and TEE is required.
• Nuclear cardiology knowledge is required.
• Invasive cardiology or cardiac catheterization experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiology coverage in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Share on-call responsibilities (2 weeks per month) with 20-minute response time.
• See ~15 patients per shift.
• Work with physicians in ICU and cardiology units.
• Support credentialing and privileging processes for seamless assignment.
