Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Cardiology PCU, 8 City at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) - The Clifton Center. The 36-bed Cardiology Progressive Care Unit cares for CHF, electrophysiology, adult congenital, and pulmonary hypertension patients.

Schedule is 36 hours per week with day/night rotating shifts and every 3rd weekend. The RN will practice under the professional practice model, progressing from New to Practice toward Clinical Nurse 2 with

Qualifications

• Must be a PA-licensed RN with BSN.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience in Cardiology or progressive care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients across age ranges, under supervision as needed.
• Coordinate care with interprofessional team to ensure safe, effective care.
• Apply CQI concepts and evidence-based practice in daily activities.
• Support patient and family education and continuity of care.
