The role requires strong customer service, coordination across physician offices, and occasional coverage at other locations. A high school diploma or GED is required, with healthcare registration experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Prior experience in patient registration/healthcare (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices
• Provides strong communication and customer service when greeting patients
• Answers calls, routes those and schedules patients, and enters scheduling information
• Processes patients in practice as they present for appointments
• Calculates patient liabilities and collects payments, reconciling the cash drawer
