Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking Cardiology Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for locum tenens support in North Carolina. Start ASAP; inpatient practice; schedule Monday to Friday 8:00am–6:00pm with a 1:3 call. EMR is Cerner; general cardiology cases.

Requirements include Board Certified or Board Eligible, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS; active NC license and DEA. AMN handles travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance. Pay rate ranges from $101.85 to $110.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible is required or preferred.
• Active North Carolina medical license is required.
• DEA license is required.
• ACLs, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology care.
• Cover Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm with 1:3 call ratio.
• Manage general cardiology cases.

This facility is seeking multiple Cardiology Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants (NPs/PAs) for locum tenens support to fill a current need.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm | Call ratio 1:3, 7 on 7 off
• Practice Setting: Inpatient

• Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days
• Electronic Medical Records EMR: Cerner
• Certification Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• License Requirements: Active North Carolina license, Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)
