Qualifications include a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, NY NP license with board certification, and at least 1 year of outpatient cardiology experience. The position offers flexible schedules (3 days a week minimum) with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Active NY State Nurse Practitioner License; Board Certification required.
Minimum of 1 year of outpatient cardiology NP experience in an outpatient setting.
Proficiency in EHR systems, cardiac diagnostics (EKG, stress tests), and treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

Conduct cardiovascular assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized care plans.
Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to manage chronic and acute cardiac issues.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., echocardiograms, Holter monitors).
Educate patients on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with practice standards.
