Job description

Grow your career as a Cardiology RN with an innovative, patient-first community hospital where hearts recover, skills grow, and impact happens quickly.

This forward-thinking organization provides the Cardiovascular Registered Nurse with excellent nurse-to-patient ratios, an integrated EHR, and evidence-based pathways that promote safe, timely care. Known for a culture of teamwork and compassionate service, the hospital supports clinical excellence through continuing education, mentorship, and clinical ladders that encourage rapid professional growth.

Advanced cardiac technologies, comprehensive telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring, and multidisciplinary case reviews promote superior outcomes across diverse populations. Strong community partnerships and philanthropy sustain innovation, expand access to specialty services, and position the Cardiac Registered Nurse for long-term success.

Within a small community hospital setting, the RN Cardiology provides personalized, high-acuity care in a cohesive, right-sized environment that encourages connection and continuity. Efficient workflows, modern cath and echo capabilities, and focused telemetry support precise assessments, prompt interventions, and comprehensive education. Advanced structural heart care is provided through alcohol septal ablation, atrial septal defect ASD closure, MitraClip, and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure to reduce stroke risk. Purposeful rounding and standardized recovery protocols enable the RN-Cardiology to champion safety, experience, and outcomes throughout the cardiac continuum.

Reporting to the Charge Nurse Cardiology, the Cardiology RN works alongside friendly bedside RNs and a diverse team of therapists, pharmacists, imaging specialists, techs, and schedulers to coordinate seamless care. Primary responsibilities include EKG acquisition and interpretation, arrhythmia recognition, administration and titration of cardiac medications, pre-/post-procedural care, patient education, and precise EHR documentation aligned with quality standards. The Cardiology Nurse will serve as the liaison between staff, patients and providers.

Located in Montana's Big Sky country between Yellowstone and Glacier, the Cardiac Care Nurse will enjoy blue-ribbon fishing on renowned rivers, scenic hiking and cycling trails, and convenient access to two welcoming ski areas. A lively schedule of concerts, festivals, and gallery nights complements a culinary scene featuring farm-to-table fare, craft breweries, and hearty mountain cuisine. Four-season living offers sunny summers, colorful autumns, powder-filled winters, and crisp spring trails-along with short commutes, friendly neighborhoods, and an appealing cost of living. Outdoor recreation and cultural opportunities create a balanced, family-friendly lifestyle that supports the Cardiac Care Nurse both on and off the unit.

The Cardiology RN will receive competitive compensation and a full suite of benefits.
