Job summary

Freeman Health System in Joplin, MO seeks a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiology team. You will work collaboratively with cardiologists and staff to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

The role includes independent outpatient clinics under physician guidance, plus hospital rounds on cardiology consults and follow-ups, with a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications

• Missouri APRN licensure as NP or MO PA license.
• MO RN license or compact RN license (if compact, must be resident state).
• Cardiology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform patient assessments, obtain histories, and conduct physical exams.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with cardiologists.
• Conduct hospital rounds on cardiology consults and follow-ups.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays).
