Qualifications

• Master's Degree of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) upon hire; NY license required.
• ATLS - Advanced Trauma Life Support and BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Able to quickly master computerized medical recordkeeping and billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and complete physical examinations; collect clinical data and vital signs.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging as appropriate; diagnose medical conditions.
• Administer medications or treatments and perform minor procedures as needed.
• Provide case management and develop/implement patient-specific care plans.
• Serve as a mentor to staff and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
