Physician shall provide clinical direction, oversight, and physician leadership to all AdventHealth employed cardiology practices in West Florida.
As Executive Medical Director, the physician leader provides strategic and clinical leadership that drives measurable improvements in patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and quality performance across the hospitals. The physician leader collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to standardize care pathways, implement evidence-based practices, and align physician engagement with organizational goals. In addition to outcomes-focused leadership, the physician leader plays a key role in physician recruitment, onboarding, and staffing optimization ensuring the service line is supported by high-quality clinicians and structured to meet both current demand and future growth. The work strengthens clinical excellence while building a sustainable, high-performing care team.

This community/specialty-based physician leadership role provides oversight for the clinical and operational performance of the providers and practices in a dyad partnership in their assigned region. This includes developing and implementing the clinical vision for their region, while ensuring AHMG and care management clinical practices/policies are adhered to. Ensures personal actions, and the actions of the providers in their region, comply with all applicable policies, regulations, and laws.
The West Florida Division Medical Group continues to grow rapidly to meet the needs of the communities we serve.
