The Cardiologist is responsible for delivering effective cardiology care while meeting compliance standards. The role includes providing consultation and treatment in inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on noninvasive ambulatory cardiology, clinical management, and diagnostics. The incumbent will also educate patients and their families, demonstrating excellence in patient care and compliance.

Privileges include admitting, diagnosing, and treating patients with cardiologic conditions requiring specialized procedures within standard fellowship training in Cardiology Medicine. Responsibilities also include completing clinical reminders, achieving performance measures, medication reconciliation, and working within the computerized patient record system (CPRS).

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, salary increases.

Paid Time Off: 50-55 days/year (including leave, sick leave, holidays, and CME leave).

Primary Duties:

• Interpretation of ECGs, ambulatory monitors, and echocardiograms.
• Stress test interpretation (treadmill, pharmacologic, nuclear).
• Establish professional relationships within the medical center and CBOCs.
• Availability for urgent assessments and consultations.

Work Schedule: 30 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
