Job summary

Tri-City Cardiology in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. This role supports physicians with patient care in a fast-paced office setting.

You will verify chart prep, update patient records, take vital signs, perform EKGs, and assist with diagnostics. The position requires a Medical Assistant diploma, a high school diploma or GED, and current BLS certification. Travel to Casa Grande and other East Valley locations is required; schedule is 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma.
• Current BLS certification (must be obtained in 90 days if not current).

Responsibilities

• Verifies accurate chart prep before patient visit.
• Follows established MA rooming protocol and clinical protocols per patient diagnosis.
• Accurately updates patient medications, allergies, and history in chart at each visit.
• Obtains vital signs, EKGs and rhythm strips as needed.
• Stock, clean and maintains supply inventory in exam rooms and work areas.
• Cross-train for additional diagnostic testing as needed.
