Job summary

Parkview Health in Indiana is seeking a Medical Assistant to support daily clinical operations in the cardiology practice. You will collaborate with management, physicians and colleagues to ensure exceptional patient care in accordance with cardiology policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited medical assistant program, hold CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC credentials as eligible, and possess CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED.
• Must have completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
• CPR required.
• 1 year experience in a medical setting preferred but not required.
• Medical terminology and pharmacology background recommended.
• Essential computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records recommended.
