Job summary

JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse II for the Cardiology Clinic. You will provide total nursing care for assigned patients under provider orders, under supervision of the nurse in charge, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Required Texas LVN licensure, BLS, ACLS/PALS where applicable, EKG proficiency, and successful completion of orientation and department-specific training.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Vocational Nursing.
• Current Texas LVN license and ongoing licensure maintenance.
• BLS certification maintained throughout employment.
• ACLS within 3 months for ED/Critical Care areas as required.
• EKG interpretation competence within 90 days of hire.
• PALS within 90 days for ED and Critical Care areas.
• Orientation and department-specific onboarding completed within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Delivers total nursing care for assigned patients under provider orders.
• Records and monitors patient information and vital signs.
• Maintains detailed reports and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Provides patient education and supports preceptor roles for staff.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives within the department.
