Qualifications

• Current South Carolina (or compact state) LPN license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a cardiovascular setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician in assessing patient needs using data from history, observation, exam and tests.
• Performs direct patient care: triage, assessment, procedures, treatments, education, discharge and follow‑up.
• Prepares medications and administers injections as ordered by the physician.
• Assists physician with treatments and procedures as needed.
• Maintains exam rooms, cleans and inventories equipment and supplies.
• Schedules testing and referrals per physician instructions.
• Keeps patient records accurate and up‑to‑date in the medical chart.
