Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship trained, BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist for the Cardiovascular Services team in Temple, Texas. Responsibilities include performing coronary and peripheral interventions, attending on the CVICU service, and providing weekend call coverage.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate Degree in Medicine, be board certified in cardiovascular disease, and passionate about teaching interventional fellows. This position offers immediate eligibility for health benefits, 401(k) with matching, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

Cardiology Interventional

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a fellowship trained, BC/BE, Interventional Cardiologist to be a member of the Cardiovascular Services team at our Baylor Scott & White Center for Advanced Medicine in Temple, Texas.

Duties include coronary and peripheral interventions, complex interventions with hemodynamic support, attending on the CVICU service, STEMI coverage (1:4) and weekend call coverage. A passion to teach and work with general cardiology and interventional fellows in the clinic, cath lab and ICU is required.

Qualifications

• Board certified in cardiovascular disease, with fellowship training and board certification/eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Teaching residents / interventional fellows available with an academic appointment.
• Doctorate Degree in Medicine.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board by start date.
• Where applicable, currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate board certification with the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
