Job summary

Ascend Medical Staffing seeks an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient and on-call coverage in the Richmond, Virginia area. The assignment is open requisition with start ASAP pending credentialing.

You will perform heart catheterizations, PCI, and related interventions, collaborating with hospital teams to deliver timely, high-quality care for adult patients. Fellowship trained and board certified in cardiology with Virginia licensure and DEA are highly preferred; BLS/ACLS

Qualifications

• Board Certified in cardiology is required.
• Active Virginia license & DEA are required (no exceptions).
• BLS/ACLS certification is required.
• Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient interventional cardiology coverage and on-call duties.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional coronary procedures including PCI and angiography.
• Cardiac catheterization and related interventions as per patient needs.
• Collaborate with hospital teams and ensure timely patient care.
